SEADS TRAINING

Looking to enhance the effectiveness of your crop-related crisis response? The SEADS global training program empowers professionals to integrate the principles and standards outlined in the SEADS Handbook, driving better outcomes for livelihoods in crisis settings.

SEADS PRACTITIONER COURSE

The SEADS Practitioner Course enables humanitarian and crop specialists to strengthen the impact of crop-related crisis response on livelihoods. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • describe and apply the SEADS principles and approach;
  • identify appropriate crop-related crisis responses to support livelihoods; and
  • design and implement crop-related responses according to SEADS standards and guidelines.

SEADS TRAINING OF TRAINERS COURSE

The SEADS Training of Trainer (ToT) course equips participants with the skills, materials and methods to be able to deliver the SEADS Practitioner Course in their countries and regions. The course is targeted at professionals working in NGOs, government agencies, international organizations, and independent consultants.

More detailed information about SEADS Regional ToTs — including selection criteria — is available in the SEADS Training Policy and ToT FAQ.

The result is a very well-presented and welcome handbook that will centralize farmers’ needs and priorities and local crop production systems to enable quality, well-designed, and appropriate humanitarian responses.
