iDE Nepal staff reflect on how SEADS will help them minimize the immediate and longer-term effects of emergencies on livelihoods of small holder farmers. The handbook will support their emergency programming, which includes: providing agricultural inputs and technical advice to minimize disruptions to production, supporting the production of high-value vegetables to provide income in the medium term, and using vouchers to support the recovery of local businesses.
